My Life Through Instagram / JUNIEblake Giveaway

Spring Chambray / Egg Baby Giveaway

Lately life has just been plain busy. I'm talking running around the house like a chicken with its head chopped off, busy! haha Its a good busy though. This little boy has helped keep me sane. Beckham is the biggest mommas boy you will ever meet. He loves to cuddle. Every time I hold him, he instantly rests his head on my chest and cuddles right in. He forces me to take my time to just sit back and relax. When I get too busy, he crawls up behind me and gives me the sweetest look. This look like, "mommy, its time to cuddle." I pick him up and we just sit and snuggle. I love how much he loves me, and I know one day I will miss these days. So, I've been taking every opportunity I can to relish in these moments. He is one special little boy. I don't know what id do without him. Love you Beckham Luke!

Ps. How adorable is this spring floral chambray, and my new favorite bag from Oasap? My little munchkins and I are wearing lots of spring colors lately, and im loving it. I apologize in advance for the spring color overload you will be seeing on the blog.

White Denim and Gingham Print

Now that it's officially spring, I thought what better way to celebrate than by wearing some white denim and gingham print! I know the whole, "Don't wear white after Labor Day" saying is a little outdated, but I still feel silly wearing it before spring. Hah! I'm excited for warmer weather and longer days full of sunshine. Hooray for spring!

On a side note, my little Beckham is such a sweetheart. He now gives kisses on command, and is walking around anywhere and everywhere he pleases. I can't believe how fast he is growing up. Its not fair. I want him to stay little forever!

A Very Special Birthday / Giveaway!!

I cant believe my little Cayman Lance is three years old tomorrow! Man, when did I get old? It seems like just yesterday I was holding him for the very first time, taking in all of the emotions that come with being a new mom. No one can ever prepare you for the intense love you have for your children; no one. It is an overwhelming, amazing, horrifying feeling. That feeling of knowing you will do absolutely anything for them, is just indescribable.

As some of you know, Cayman was a micro preemie born at just 27 weeks gestation. He is my little miracle. I don't know what I did to deserve such an amazing little boy, but I am forever grateful to have the opportunity to be his mom. He has taught me so much these past three years, and makes me want to be a better person by seeing the world through his eyes. One day all too soon, he wont need me anymore. He will be all grown up, and I will miss the days I had to constantly clean food off his face and wash dirt off his hands. I will miss his middle of the grocery store temper tantrums, the messes he makes, and the pitter patter of little feet running all around the house. I will miss this sweet, vivacious, energetic, and adorable little boy! So every day until forever, I will embrace being his mommy and all that comes with it. I love you Cayman- please never grow up!

Pink Peonies & Blogging Essentials Giveaway Part III

So, I've been a really bad blogger lately. This last week Beckham came down with RSV and it was pure misery. Please tell me I'm not the only one who gets depressed when their kids are sick? Anyone else have this problem? I just wanted to take his place so badly. Poor thing was just miserable, and life pretty much got put on hold until he was better.

One thing I have realized about myself as a parent, is that I always play by the rules. Sometimes it can be a little overboard. I mean, Cayman didn't even go to nursery until he was 2 1/2, because I was too paranoid to leave him or risk him getting sick. I hardly took Beckham outside of the house his first year, as to not risk him getting sick. Its scary having a micro preemie, because the slightest cold can send them back to the NICU. Just when I was thinking we were in the clear with spring coming, he gets RSV. Lets just say I cried all morning and afternoon. Worst parent award right here <------------- I just love this little boy so much, and im glad to see he is better. Still a little sniffly, but for the most part he's back to normal. Let's just say we cannot wait for warmer weather!
