Baby Blues...

Well, it looks like summer has begun! Lately im all about lace and eyelet fabrics. This top was too cute too pass up. It was a little short, so I layered it with a gorgeous embroidered tank top. It paired perfectly with my powdered blue crossbody bag from Shop Lucy Mint, and ill take any excuse to wear this beauty!

Just a little update on us. 

Summer is going great! We went to Dollywood this weekend and it was a complete blast.  Cayman rode on his first train, aka "choo choo." He was terrified of the horn, and held his ears the entire time. Haha but man was he excited to see a real train. He's obsessed with trains right now, so watching his face light up was so cute! We also saw fireflies for the first time this week. We sat outside and watched the night sky light up with tiny golden flickers of light! An entire field covered in fireflies, amazing! Beckham is getting SO big! He is definitely going to be bigger than Cayman, which is good because Cayman picks on him all the time. Beckham is also starting to talk more. He can say, "mama" "dada" "thank you" aka "tank ooo" "no" "yes" and "tickle." Im also teaching him sign language. Right now he knows, "Please," "more," "cookie," "milk," and "thank you." These two boys sure do keep me busy, but I wouldn't change it for the world. :)

Hi Ya'll!! Coming to you from Nashville Tennessee, and yes the southern accent is rubbing off! Sorry i've been such a bad blogger lately. I've been busy out and about with these two adorable little boys of mine. Cayman and Beckham are so much happier in the sunshine, and so am I! So, we spend our days outside. Recently my boys and I were chosen to be one of Curly Q's Counters brand reps. We never really enter contests, but i've been a big fan of their site for a while now, so of course I had to enter them. They have the cutest little boy denim I've ever seen, and cute boy clothes are rare to come by. They created the site with boys in mind, but also to fill a gap in the girls clothing industry. Boy did they do a great job, I love how stylish and unique everything is! If you have a little boy or girl, you need to check them out. I promise you, you will fall in love!

Also, I cant get over how adorable these two are in their matching "Be Wild" tees from Sandi Lake Clothing. The saying speaks for itself, and they are perfect for summer days out exploring with mom. Plus, Beckham's outfit paired perfectly with his new baby moccasins from My Beautiful Little Shop. They are handmade with genuine leather, and the quality is amazing. I was very impressed! Love these two boys with all my heart!

Fashionably Late

For those of me who know me personally, I am always "fashionably late." Not always a good thing, in fact its kind of annoying. Sometimes I will plan ahead and still be late. I've always had a love for fashion, and accessorizing according to each outfit. Even my kids. We have been late to events because I couldn't find the matching shoes to Cayman or Beckhams outfits. It drives my husband bonkers I'm sure. When I saw this tee at Tara Lynns Boutique, it had ME written all over it. Oh, and this gold sequin skirt? I just can't stop staring at it. I want to wear it all day every day, because I feel like a gold goddess wearing this beauty! You all NEED one of these in your closet, in fact I think every girl should own at least one gold sequin skirt. Plus, the price is awesome! 

This is my first official blog post coming to your from Nashville Tennessee. So far we love it here. There is green everywhere, as you can see by these pictures. If you follow me on instagram you know that my husband is in summer sales. He is a manager for VIVINT, and we travel every summer. Everyone here seems to be really nice, and we are loving the sunshine. Minus the humidity, I could do without that! The boys seem to be adjusting great and already have lots of friends. I hope you all have a fantastic Friday and enjoy your time with friends and family. I know I will be spending every second playing and cuddling with my two adorable boys. Happy Friday!

Summer Neons Featuring Albion Fit $100 Giveaway

With Mother's Day coming up, I just cant help but sit back and think about my years as a mother. My two boys have brought me so much joy and happiness. More than I ever thought imaginable. Lately my heart has broken along with so many others, for those that have lost a child. It seems like I am hearing about it more often, or maybe its just that it hurts so much more now that I am a mother. I can't imagine loosing a child, and I pray every day it's a trial I never have to endure. Hearing about these stories helped remind me to live every day with my children like it's our last. Life is short and precious. We only get today once. Do it right, be patient, memorize their little laugh, their tiny feet. Tomorrow they will be a little older, and need you a little less. Cayman is full swing into the "Terrible Twos!" Granted he is three now, but we all know the terrible twos last much longer than one year! haha I constantly have to remind myself that he will only be this little for a short time, and I will miss these days. I love my little men with all my heart. I want to be the best mom and be worthy of the blessings they have brought me every single day. Happy Mothers Day to all of you wonderful moms out there. You are amazing, strong, talented, and beautiful inside and out! I hope you all have a great day and enjoy your time with your family. Lets face it, our children will be our "babies," forever!

Hotslings Review

I am so honored to be collaborating with the Mothers Lounge and Hotslings.com to give my review on hot slings. I had always heard such good things about this brand, so I was very excited to try them out. 

First off, if you know me personally, you know that my little Beckham likes to be held all the time. He's about 22 pounds now, so it makes life a little tricky when he's joint at my hip. I'm not joking when I say that this sling has made my life 100% easier! It's a lightweight fabric that folds nicely into an adorable little carrier, and slips right in to my purse or diaper bag. The carrier itself can hold babies up to 35 lbs, and has padding for support on its back and under it's tooch. The straps at the shoulder adjust nicely, making it easy for you and baby to be comfortable. The first time I tried it on with Beckham, I thought he might be a little leery about it. I put him in, and he immediately cuddled in to my chest. I gave him a bottle, and he was out like a light! I was completely shocked! It usually takes me about 30 minutes of rocking him back and forth to get him to fall asleep at night. I would definitely say I would recommend this sling to anyone.
