Kindness is Always Stylish

Okay you guys, how much do we love the saying of this shirt? It's so true- Kindness is ALWAYS stylish. There really is no reason to be mean or spiteful, being nice will always win in the end. You know what they say, "What Suzie says of Sally, says more of Suzie than it does of Sally." So be kind, be classy, and be the light and positivity everyone needs in their life. Remember to see the good in yourself, and in others. Once I learned this, I grew to love more deeply and saw the beauty in those around me. There are some amazing people out there, so be kind and let your light shine.

Black and white is one of my favorite trends right now. Its so simple, yet classy and easy to pair with a fun print or pop of color. In this case, I wore my favorite leopard heels to add a little touch of something spunky to my outfit.

One of my absolute favorite things to do is bargain shop, and find adorable pieces for a great price. That is why I love Dress Venus. I found this lace cutout top I had been eyeing at a boutique for quite some time now. The boutique was selling it for $90, and I found the exact one at Dress Venus for only $20! Booya! Not to mention this darling pink cross body bag is only $20 as well. It looks like a bag you'd think would be at least $150. Am I right? Lets just say I was pleasantly surprised by how cute it was in person, even better than the pictures! So, if you are a fellow shopping addict like me. Fall Transition + Red Closet Diary

Today's post is on Fall transition pieces. You know those awkward in between weeks of summer and fall, where its too hot for a coat yet too cold for a strapless dress? Well, we wanted to share with you a little of what we consider our fall transition outfits. Hello gals!!! This is Jalynn from the red closet diary. I am really excited to be here talking transitioning pieces with these two cute girls today. Transitioning pieces are going to be different for everyone, depending on your fall favorites. For me, when I think of transitioning pieces, I think of booties and cardigans/jackets because they are my favorite! Killin It in Neon

Okay okay... enough with the neon pink already right? I just can't help it. Neons are my all time favorite this summer, and I cannot wait to transition them to fall. You can't go wrong with a neon beanie or button up under a sweater. There's just something about a pop of color I love so dearly. Oh, and this "killin it" tee from Style Lately is my go to for fall transition. It's simple, stylish, and can be paired with a blazer or jacket to give your outfit a finished, and ready for fall look!

Anyway, Happy Friday! I leave Tennessee tomorrow to head back HOME! Yes, that's right. Tomorrow night I will be back in our home in Utah, sleeping in my own bed and probably chasing the kids around the house (considering we've been cooped up in an apartment for the last four months). I can't wait to finally be home! Cayman starts pre-school this year, and is signed up for soccer this fall. It's going to be a blast! Here's to a new season (almost) and a new wardrobe! I can't wait!

The Good Life

Growing up in Southern California, we lived up on a mountain known as the "Devore" area. We lived right across the street from a huge Ranch. I took for granted how beautiful it was there. I remember chasing around the chickens, playing on a tire swing, and riding horses every day. The owners of the Ranch became our second family, and they took us to all of their horse shows, rodeos, you name it! It was such a simple life. I spent every day enjoying this beautiful World God created for us, and never realized what a blessing that was. Because of my love for horses, I later joined the Riverside Equestrian Center. Looking back at pictures, it looks exactly the same. I remember grooming my horse Annie before each ride in those very stables. She was a smaller horse, but I liked that. I wasn't very big growing up, and Annie was gentle and loving. Now that i'm grown up with kids of my own, I want this life so badly for them. I want them to be able to run freely and enjoy mother nature in all her glory. This World we live in can be a very scary place, but it can also be beautiful. It can also be filled with joy and sunshine, and memories that last a lifetime.

When my friend Kristen showed us this gorgeous Ranch here in Tennessee, I couldn't help but reminisce on my childhood growing up around horses. It is beyond beautiful there, with fields of green grass, horses, and a friendly dog name Riley that played with the kids. The first time Cayman saw a horse he covered his ears (he does that when he's scared) and screamed bloody murder every time I walked near one. This time however, he was not afraid at all. He gently petted them and kept saying "I like them, mom!" I'm glad my husband was able to capture these precious memories of us at the Ranch, and also this beyond gorgeous skirt from Tara Lynns Boutique I was able to wear, which fit perfectly for the occasion. I about died when I saw how beautifully it flowed with just the slightest breeze, simply stunning. Hope you enjoy.
