Denim Jumpsuit featuring Lulu's

You guys! This post has been a long time coming. I am absolutely loving this adorable denim jumpsuit, but every time we tried to photograph it; it would RAIN! I swear I was beginning to think it was jinxed. Well, we obviously got it photographed. It is so comfy, and the best part is that it's like wearing pajamas all day, but also fashionably acceptable when you're out and about. Who wouldn't like that? Plus- I just think they are dang cute. I am pro jumpsuit even if my husband hates them. What do you think? Are you pro jumpsuit?

Summer Trend Alert: White Lace Dresses

I don't know about you, but now that the sun is out even longer and the weathers getting warmer; I've found myself searching high and low for the perfect white lace dress (find options here). My personal favorite is pairing mine with pops of color such as these tassel bracelets, earrings, and a bright colored clutch. Like i've said before, I'm a sucker for bright colors especially in the summer!

Pops of Pink

It seems almost silly posting this outfit considering I've been wearing nothing but comfy clothes and flats lately. I did however wear this outfit for a girls night, and it so felt good to wear heels again! Im loving this pink tunic from Jess Lea Boutique and that it can easily be thrown on with leggings for a more relaxed look. Oh, and In case you were wondering, yes I chopped my hair! Its still taking some getting used to, but I'm loving how easy it is to do. Happy Monday!

Floral on Floral

This beautiful floral skirt had been sitting in my closet for far too long, and when I was organizing I thought to myself, "why on Earth have I not worn you?" So, that Sunday I wore it to church with a simple chambray. I let the skirt do all the talking. ;) I hope you all love it as much as me.

I'll Eat You Up, I Love You so!

I am beyond excited to finally share with you my boys room. It's sadly has been a few months in making; because what started out as just being a play room idea, quickly changed into a joint bedroom/ playroom when we moved to NJ. Let me tell you, trying to decorate and make a room look cute in such a small space is hard work. This is just a temporary space until we find something bigger we both love, but for now this is home and I want it to feel that way. Lucky for me, we can decorate the place and put nails in the wall. Hallelujah! 

The first few weeks after we moved here, Cayman would start crying every time we pulled into the driveway and would say, "I don't want to go to New Jersey! I want to go HOME!" It broke my heart, so I wanted to create a space that felt like home. I wasn't really sure what direction or "theme" I going for, until my best friend Kristen sent me an adorable sign in the mail as a house warming gift for the boys room. It read, "I'll eat you up, I love you so!" I read the book, Where The Wild Things Are to her kids countless times this last summer, and its my boys personal favorite. I knew then that I wanted their room to be centered around adventure.  My kids are as adventurous as they come, so I wanted it to reflect their fun and playful personalities. I chose to do bright colors, and the teepee/ play tent of course as the center of the decor. Don't even get me started on how much I'm loving this teepee from Ashley Gabby Designs. Its great quality, and the design is probably the cutest I've seen for boys. Cayman and Beckham's favorite place to be is the outdoors, and they absolutely love camping. The first time I set up their tent, Cayman was so excited to go "camping," in his bedroom!
I hope you all love this fun and playful bedroom I created for my boys as much as I do. Its definitely made this temporary place feel a little more like home. XOXO

Happy Mothers Day featuring Maggy London and Rack Room Shoes

Today I am honored to be collaborating Maggy London and Rack Room Shoes for a special Mothers day post. With this wonderful holiday right around the corner, Ive thought a lot about my mother and mother in law and the influence they have made in my life. My mom was a single mom from the time I was 14. She worked full time to provide for us, (all 5 of us) and still managed to attend every soccer ball game, science fair, parent teacher conference, recital, you name it. She has and always will be there for me, and if I'm half the mom she is- I know I'm doing something right. 

My Mother in law has been through more than any one person should ever have to go through in their entire life. Despite it all, she is the most happy and optimistic woman I have ever met. She has taught me to always see the glass half full, to count my blessings, and to always see the best in others and in myself. 

In the end, material things don't matter. You're only as happy as your heart is full- and boy is my heart full. I have one amazing family, and am so blessed to be a mom to my two rambunctious little boys. I am grateful every day for the mothers in my life, and for helping me be the best mom I can be to my children. Happy early Mothers Day to all of you moms out there! May it be as beautiful and wonderful as you are.
