A white lace dress for Easter

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! I think its safe to say I'm always a blubbering mess whenever the Easter holiday comes around. Remembering Christ's sacrifice for us, and that he rose from the dead and still lives; I can't help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude and love. My husband captured these beautiful photos of the boys and I, that I will cherish forever. Watching their little faces light up all weekend celebrating Easter was so much fun. Friday we spent the day doing Easter crafts, baking cookies, and dying easter eggs. Then on Saturday we spent the day in Phillipsburg at the Easter Bunny train ride and egg hunt. Sunday was quiet, we went to church, took naps and had friends over for a big bbq. It was such a fun weekend spent with the people we love.

I bought this darling white lace dress a little over a month ago, and was saving it for this special Easter Sunday. Its even more beautiful in person, and the fit is great. It's the perfect dress for Spring and easily transitions to Summer. I hope you all love it as much as I do.

Spring Break Ready with Nads

It's Spring Break time, and that means its time to bust out the shorts, dresses, and sandals for some fun in the sun! Today was my boys last day of School before the break, so my husband and I are looking at some fun last minute trips. I've been shopping for swimsuits and sandals, and suddenly thought, "oh shoot, I need to get waxed!" I don't know about you, but my legs always need a little extra help after a long winter. Eva Mendes Spring Lace Sheath Dress

Yay! Its finally spring! The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming, and the the coats and boots are being put away until next year. Seems like every year around this time I'm always looking for the perfect lace dresses. Im such a sucker for lace, especially in the springtime. This gorgeous number from the new Eva Mendes Spring Collection from NY&CO is one of my favorites. When I pulled it out to show my mother in law, she kept saying how much she loved the color. Not a deep red, but a bright red with a slight orange tone to it; making it the perfect spring color that easily transitions to summer! I paired it with simple nude pumps, because there really is no competing with the beauty of this simple lace dress. Its a spring wardrobe staple in my book, and the fit and length are perfection. Want to hear a funny story? After we took these photos I had to run to the grocery store to grab a few things for my sons birthday party, I didn't have time to change so I switched out my shoes for some simple flats and got at least ten compliments on my dress. So, there you have it folks. For todays outfit I wore one of my favorite trench coats for spring. Its warm enough to wear on chilly days, but also light enough to wear as the temperatures are rising. Lets be honest, we all think about this when purchasing clothing in those in between months of Summer and Winter. I paired it with some simple white denim and these adorable metallic loafers. Im telling you, these shoes are like Heaven! So incredibly comfy, I could wear them all day!

Easter Sunday Outfit Ready

Who else loves dressing up for Easter Sunday? I just finished ordering mine and the boys Easter Sunday outfits, and even included a matching tie for my husband. Theres just something about the spirit I feel that day, the trees blooming with fresh flowers, and the pops of pastel colors flooding the streets. I think Spring is always a happy time of year because after a long winter, the sun is finally out and we can all say goodbye to cold weather. and hello to sunshine and happiness! This year I've found myself leaning towards crochet lace patterned dresses vs. the typical florals. If you're looking for the perfect spring dress, id also make sure and stop by Modcloth because they have the most adorable spring selection you will ever see! Staying Fresh with Dove

Spring Transition Pieces and the perfect Blush Pink Tench Coat

When it comes to spring transition, it can easily become frustrating trying to find the right clothing to wear. Especially here in NJ, the weather fluctuates so much this time of year I'm not sure if I should retire my winter wardrobe or keep it out just in case theres another random snow storm. My solution to this problem is finding clothing the screams "spring," but will also keep me warm if needs be. These adorable leopard booties are some of my favorites and are great boot for weather like this. I paired them with a blush pink trench coat that is light enough to wear in 75 degree weather, but warm enough for those chilly mornings taking the kids to school. It makes the perfect spring trench coat, and you'll be sure to see it on repeat here the next few weeks. Also, if you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen my recent post about this spring sweater. It is so comfy I could take a nap in it! The material is heavenly soft, and its just slouchy enough to give it a relaxed look and still covers the butt (which I personally like).

NYFW Day 5 || Feather Trim Dress

On the last day of NYFW I checked out of our hotel at The Gregory and was ready to take on a full day of snow in a big puffer coat! After our first show however, I felt way underdressed (although weather appropriate) and decided I should end the week with a bang and put on my favorite feather trim dress from Shosanna, and the perfect sequin tweed coat to pair with it. The detailing of both items was love at first sight. The jewel detailing and feather trim of this dress gave it a classy yet flirty look which I loved. We had the opportunity to view Shosannas new spring/summer lines and let me tell you, they have some absolutely adorable dresses coming out that you are all sure to fall in love with. It was freezing on the last day of fashion week, so I wore over the knee boots to cover up a little more, and my coat kept me extra cozy. Did I mention this gorgeous coat is ON SALE? That's right, and not just a little on sale, I'm talking HUGE savings! They're selling out pretty quickly, so I would definitely suggest ordering now if you want to get the deal.

That day we attended the Lela Rose show, which id have to say was likely my favorite show of the entire week. Not only was the clothing phenomenal, but the shoes were to die for as well. This year she used a lot of sequin detailing and when it shimmered in the lights, its gave me all the good feels. Lets just say I wanted every single thing that came down that runway!
