Happy Easter with Maggy London

Happy Friday! I hope you're all enjoying your Friday and are getting excited for Easter! It seems like every year around this same time, I start to do some really deep thinking about my life and if its spiritually on the right track. Sounds silly, but can I be honest? These past few weeks have been challenging for me to say the least. For the first time I honestly felt like I was having waves of depression. Moving across the country to a new place, with new people and no family. Its been hard, but at the same time it has also given me a rude awakening of what is most important. I know that I can get through anything with my family by my side, and that despite the hard trial of leaving everything familiar behind, I know I will be just fine. We've been through worse, so I know we can do this. Happiness is a choice, and I choose to be happy and focus on the good. I choose to always see the cup half full, and to see the best in others and in myself. With Easter approaching, I just can't help but to feel thankful for my many blessings. My Faith, a great husband who is the best dad and supports me in all that I do, and two great kids who light up my life. I will do a separate post on Easter Day, but I just wanted to say THANK YOU for your support and kind words this past year and a half. It really does mean a lot, and I hope you all have a great Easter and remember the true meaning of the holiday. From our family to yours, Happy Easter!

Beach Ready featuring Show Me Your Mumu

I can't believe its already been a week since we moved to New Jersey. It has definitely been an adjustment, but I really feel it is where we need to be. It is so odd to me hearing people talk about working in NYC, or meeting there for lunch. It has never been this tangible to me, and its strange having it become a normal part of my life. The way people talk with their New York accents, the busy lifestyle, its like living in another country!

Anyway, today's post has nothing to do with that. I am honored to be able to collaborate with Show Me Your Mumu. I have been a big fan of their cover ups for quite some time, every piece is absolutely gorgeous, fashion forward, and great quality. They are also sold at many reputable online shops such as Revolve Clothing. I wore one of the rompers to Cancun and got so many compliments on it. Unfortunately the day I wore this maxi dress my husband took picture on our nice camera. Well, my son Beckham found the memory card and decided to make it a chew toy. So, sadly I lost all of those pictures. I was however able to take some by the lake at home. It was extremely windy that day if your couldn't already tell.
