If you know me personally, you know that I am in love with the color yellow. It such gorgeous happy color that reminds me of sunshine. (Fun Fact- my personality color is also yellow. haha I took the test when I was in elementary and its never changed.) When I saw this skirt from Choies I just had to have it! Girls- you NEED this skirt. Its gorgeous and the price is unbeatable! I searched and searched for a skirt like this, but couldn't find anything under $150. My mouth dropped when I saw it was only $26! Thanks Choies! Also, can I just say how much I love my new Wifey tee from Tara Lynns Boutique? Isnt it adorable? I love the wifey tee trend popping up everywhere, but I have to say the floral print is by far my favorite. Plus, it pairs perfectly with my new floral heels. :)

Boyfriend Tee

I met Lindsay and Crystal from LC Photography at Provo Fashion Week a few weeks ago. They are such dolls, and the sweetest girls ever! I was thrilled when they asked if they could take some pictures of me for my blog. As a blogger, its always hard to find someone who is good with a camera to take pictures. When I work with sponsors, I want their images to be awesome  and showcase their product well. It can be hard sometimes! They did such a great job, and got the images back to me lightening fast! I couldn't believe it! If you are a fellow blogger and need a photographer, give them a call. They also do newborn, weddings, family, and senior portrait sessions as well! LC Photography

As you can see by my post, I am obsessed with boyfriend denim and boyfriend tees lately. Its such a comfy casual look, and so much more practical for my busy life with two kids. I about died when I saw this tee from Cents Of Style. Not only is it just plain adorable, but its boyfriend fit. Oh so comfy. Plus, my kids are obsessed with Frozen Aka "Olaf." The saying is just too cute.  I had to have it, the second I laid my eyes on it. I paired it with my favorite heels from Sole Society. Need I say more? These heels are amazing, and they are actually really comfortable. The sole is "cushy!" I know, surprising right? Hope you all love this outfit as much as I do. :)

Easter Sunday

This Easter was such a blast. My side of the family came to visit from Layton, and it was wonderful being able to spend the day with them. I went to church with the kids- which let me tell you, It's HARD watching two toddlers alone at church. haha My husband was out of town, and it's the first Easter we have ever spent away from each other! Thank goodness for modern technology. We were able to talk and send pictures all day. I was so glad I was able to find an outfit to match the boys Easter outfits, thank you Poppy and Dot and Marilyn & Beverlys for saving the day! I sent my Easter skirt with my husband to Nashville by accident. Whoops! Once we got home from church, my sister and her family showed up, along with my other two sisters. Cayman was in Heaven playing with his cousins. He loves them and ignores me when they are around. Who needs mom when the cousins come to play!? Beckham on the other hand was joint at my hip as usual. He's such a mamas boy. I hope he never grows out of it. :) We had a big bbq, had an Easter egg hunt with all of the kids, made Easter cupcakes, watched Easter movies, and dyed Easter eggs. The kids even had a little "bubble party," it was the cutest thing watching Beckham laugh at all the bubbles. He was mesmerized! Such a perfect day celebrating with my amazing family.

Every Easter I cant help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude for all of my many blessings. A husband who supports me in all that I do, two adorable little boys who make me laugh and smile every day, a roof over my head, food to eat, and so much more. Celebrating Easter is not just about gathering together as family, the easter egg hunts and the candy. It is so much more than that. I know that Christ lived and was resurrected. I know that he died for our sins, so that we could one day return to our Heavenly Father. It is because of our loving savior that I am able to be a wife and a mother to my two little miracles. I am grateful for him every day. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter, and were able to remember the true meaning behind it.

Easter Outfit ~ Simplifying My Life

I cant believe Easter is this Sunday. I swear just yesterday it was the first day of fall. Two seasons passed in the blink of an eye! I love the month of Easter. The sun is shining, flowers are blooming, and the smell of fresh mowed grass is in the air. What's not to like? Ps. how adorable is my little man Beckham. This kid is always so happy- couldn't love him more if I tried.

Lately i've done a lot of praying and soul searching. My life has been so crazy busy lately. So busy- that I felt like I was failing in every category. I was trying to be the "perfect wife," Perfect mom," "perfect employee," and I just cannot do it all. I am not super woman- no matter how hard I try. With a husband who travels, and two little munchkins who need their mommy, I knew I needed to make a big change. Today is my last day at my dream job. I started my job at Jane.com about a year ago and it has truly been amazing. I am sad to leave such an amazing company. I mean, who can honestly say they love their job (besides being a mom) and actually enjoy what they are doing? Although it is a sad day, I know I am doing this for the right reasons. Working full time with two kids is tough.Id sometimes stay up till 2 in the morning, so I didn't have to work while they were awake. I am so grateful I was able to work from home and around my kids schedules, and for a husband who supported me every step of the way. However, I cannot wait to spend every minute of every day with my two little miracles. I can't wait to not feel so busy and on a tight schedule every second of the day. My boys will only be this little for so long, soon they will be all grown up and I don't want to miss a thing. So, here's to long cuddles, trips to the zoo, and laying on the grass watching the clouds roll by. I'll try to continue to document our life on the blog- because its something I can include with them. I hope you will all continue to read as I transition Kiss Me Darling from Fashioned focused- to a lifestyle blog. Family, fashion, baking, you name it! This is my life- and I love it. :)

Floral Track Pants

The weather has really warmed up lately in Utah, and i'm loving it! I bought these floral track pants about a month ago and wear them far too often. I mean, they are seriously as comfy as wearing sweat pants all day-minus the sweat. ;) The fabric is lightweight and they breathe well, which is perfect for warmer weather. I'm in love- plus they pair perfectly with my new favorite bag from Lucy Mint. You guys- if you haven't checked them out yet, you NEED to. By far one of my favorite new shops. Everything is adorable, and very reasonably priced.

My husband always says, "when the sun is shining, so is my wife!" I simply cannot stay indoors when the sun is out. Honestly, I get a little grumpy and stir crazy if I'm couped up for too long.  So, most days in the spring and summer you will find me at the park, or on long walks with my kids. Granted- we do not do either of these with me in heels. They are just for show- because lets be honest, outfits just look so much better in a good pair of heels! ;)
