Leather & Leopard/ Giveaway!!

If it isn't obvious by now, I love leopard print!! Even when it wasn't "in," I still loved it. Back in high school I had a leopard print bedding set, and my sisters made fun of me and said my room looked like a jungle. When I was eight, I had a leopard and pink tiny purse that I brought with me everywhere. I think its safe to say I have an ongoing addiction. ;)

Happy Monday! This last week was my little boy Beckham's 2nd birthday, and we partied it up all week! He was born 13 weeks early with major complications due to his birth, and almost didn't make it. Beckham is my special little miracle baby, so every birthday for him is a big milestone. I had one of my nephews stay with me almost every day last week, so it made things so much more fun. The boys loved going out for ice cream almost every day, playing at the park, going to the Museum of Natural Curiosity on the rainy days, and playing with all of Beckham's new birthday presents. Beckham was spoiled rotten all week, was sang "Happy Birthday" to daily, and had an ear to ear smile all week long. I really just wanted him to feel extra special, because thats exactly what he is. My special little boy.

A Very Special Birthday Giveaway!!!

Today is a very special day for my family. One year ago today, our little man Beckham was born. To say his arrival was a shock, would be an understatement. My pregnancy was perfect, he was gaining weight, I was eating healthy, and I had no signs of pre term labor. On September 27th 2012, at only 27 weeks pregnant (13 weeks early) I woke up in the middle of the night and knew something was wrong. Beckham was born via C-section at 4:00am weighing just 2 lbs 9 oz. Because of his hectic arrival, he suffered bilateral level 3 brain bleeds on each side. He needed a vent to breath, his valve in his heart was left open, he had a pulmonary hemorrhage in his lungs, and he had an IV infiltration that caused the entire left side of his head to swell. These are just some of the critical conditions he faced during his first few weeks of life. On October 3rd, Beckham's doctor sat us down and told us to say our goodbyes. His brain bleeds were progressing rapidly and he was requiring the highest amount of oxygen possible and was still struggling. I truly believe with all my heart that Beckham is here today because of faith, prayer, and our Savior. Little by little, Beckham got better. His bleeds began to recede, he was able to get off of the vent and on a regular respirator, and little by little he became stronger.

There is not a day that goes by, that I don't look at him and feel overwhelmed with gratitude that hes still here. He is my hero, and always will be. He is a mamas boy, loves to snuggle, he smiles, giggles, says "mama" and "dada", he CRAWLS, and loves to feed himself puffs. He has the sweetest personality, and makes me smile at least 100 times a day! I am amazed by how well he is doing, and how far he has come. This past year has definitely had its ups and downs, but I wouldn't change a thing because it brought him to me. He is a reminder to me every single day, that life is a gift. My Skincare routine with Enza Essentials

You guys, this post has been a long time coming and I am thrilled to finally share my experience using Enza Essentials!

I received my products a couple months ago, and didn't really know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package and a saw a folder with my day and night skin care regimen all printed out, specifically for my skin type. Not to mention, they added a dark chocolate cookie crunch candy bar. Id say they just love me, but really they do this for all of their customers. :) The first day I used it, I had just taken a shower and decided to try it out. I just finished washing my face when the doorbell rang. I walked through the living room, and the first thing my husband said when he saw me was, "wow honey! Your skin looks amazing!" Now, this was a shock to me because I had just gotten out of the shower. I have really uneven skin tone, especially right after I take a shower. I looked in the mirror and couldn't believe what I was seeing. Radiant skin, with little to no redness! I was ecstatic! I thought it must be too good to be true, especially since I felt and saw a difference so quickly. Two months later, and I cannot live without it. My little boy Beckham lost my cleanser, and my skin was not happy with me about it. I wrote Enza an email, and they quick shipped me a replacement. I had it within two days, and literally ran to my bathroom to wash my face. Since then, I have had a few people ask me, "do you still love Enza?" Well, the answer is YES!!! Now, if you are wondering what my skin care routine is and what products I use, then keep reading. They sent me the Complete Saturation System and added the Rosacalm serum, advanced protection, spot extractor, pore extraction masque, vitamin E, and sustaining glow cream.

My Morning Routine: I like to wash my face first thing in the morning as long as my kids allow it. I use the saturation cleanser first. I put it on, rinse, and then repeat. The first rinse takes off all of the surface pollutants, and the second rinse gives my skin a deeper cleanse. I then use the saturation toner. I just spray a little bit on a cotton pad, and tab it on my face. Afterwards I use the sustaining glow cream, vitamin E, and of course the SPF advanced protection. Can I just say how much I love the glow cream? The name fits it perfectly, because my skin is glowing afterwards!

My Night Time Routine: At night, I use the same routine with the cleanser and toner. I put the rosacalm serum on my problem areas for uneven skin tone. After time, this has helped my skin tremendously. Once a week I use the pore extraction masque and Saturation Aloe Scrub. Every time I use the scrub, I have at least three people tell me how beautiful my skin is! Plus, my makeup always goes on so smoothly afterwards. I also use the spot extractor pretty much whenever I feel like I need it. I don't have a lot of dark spots, but any I have noticed have been significantly lightened using this product.

I hope this helps anyone who is thinking about trying this product. I for one have loved using it, and will continue to use it until I find something I like better. I don't see that happening any time soon. ;) Thanks for reading!
